2nd  Annual Pie Baking Contest – Fall Fest 2014

Calling all amateur pie bakers 18 and older!  Who can bake the tastiest homemade fruit pie?  Judges will decide based on overall appearance, crust, filling, and overall taste.  First prize – $100.00 visa gift card, Second prize – $40.00 visa gift card & a $10.00 Jason’s deli gift card, Third prize – $25.00 Trader Joe’s gift card.  First, second and third place will also receive ribbons, and of course, bragging rights!  For contest rules and registration form, go to the Pineville Fall Fest website, come by the Belle Johnston Community Center to pick one up, or contact Heather Creech at 704-889-2400.  Contest takes place on Sat.  2nd Annual Pie Eating Contest – Fall Fest 2014

 How fast can you eat a pie?  We want to see who the fastest pie eater is in town.   Please register at the information booth between 10:00am and 2:00pm on Sat. Oct. 18th.  Register early – limited space available!  Pie eating contest will begin at 3:00pm at the large shelter.  There will be two age groups (5-12 years old) and 13 years & up.  There will only be one winner in each group.  Each winner will take home a $40.00 visa gift card & a $10.00 TCBY gift card!  Hope to see you there!

Fall Community Yard Sale

Rain or Shine!  Hot or Cold! Yard Sale will be held inside the Belle Johnston Community Center Gym.

Date/Time:  Sat Nov. 8th from 7:00am – 12:00pm

20 tables available – only one per household!

Cost:  $10.00

Please come by the community center to reserve and pay for your table.

Halloween Night: Friday, Oct. 31st from 6:00 – 7:30PM

This trick or treating event is for adults and kids.  Local businesses will be promoting their business, handing out coupons, and candy for trick or treaters!  Come dressed in your costume for a chance to win the best costume award! Costume contest will be at 7:00pm on the stage. Any local business interested in participating, please contact the Community Center at 704.889.2400
